WORK UNDERWAY TO DOUBLE GALLERY SIZE
Work has begun to almost double the gallery space at Armidale’s Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place.
The centre showcases local culture as well as artists from across the state, with a new exhibition every two months.
The addition of a second gallery will allow more artists’ work to be put on display.
“Creating many opportunities for local artists to have their exhibitions displayed here,” Creative Curator, Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place, Bevan Quinlan.
Disability access from the carpark will also be included in the upgrades.
They’re expected to be complete by February, with a new exhibition to show off the extension.
