WILD WEDNESDAY STRETCHES TO NEW ENGLAND
The New England North West felt the effects of today’s wild weather.
While it felt like a lot, Tamworth Airport only saw a little more than 10-millimetres since 9am, with wind gusts tipping 70-kilometres per hour.
Some residents even experienced hail – this vision from Tintinhull looks more like snow, with golf ball size pieces falling from the sky.
There were lighter falls to the north of the viewing area.
But thankfully, most drought-affected areas received a welcome downpour or two.
