Following months of speculation, the Newcastle Knights have finally confirmed the signing of St George Illawarra fullback, Darius Boyd.
The Queensland and Australian rep will join the club on a four-year deal.
It’ll start at the same time his current coach and mentor, Wayne Bennett, arrives.
Boyd was in talks with the Gold Coast Titans, but that soured a few weeks ago.
It follows other high profile signings Kade Snowden and Timana Tahu, since Nathan Tinkler took over the club.
