WEATHER: SHORT LIVED BUT DANGEROUS EAST COAST LOW

The low is expected to intensify as it reaches the coast, with isolated showers and storms to develop throughout Wednesday across the Greater Hunter.

We can expect to see the worst of the weather into the evening, as strong winds and bursts of heavy rain strike the Central Coast and Newcastle region.

It will move away quickly, however large swells will stick around.
