TWO NORTH COAST SURFERS SET TO HIT THE WAVES IN QS 10,000 EVENT

Far North Coast surfers Soli Bailey and Stu Kennedy are set to hit the water tomorrow in the Vans World Cup at the world famous Sunset Beach.
While they would need a huge result to qualify for the championship tour next year, both are keen to continue a strong run of form.
Bailey from Suffolk Park is currently ranked 16th in the QS series, after he scored his best result this year, finishing in the Quarter Finals at the Hawaiian Pro earlier this month.
The 23-year-old will face Nat Young, Gatien Delahaye and Reo Inaba in Round 2 at the north shore break.
Kenney from Lennox Head has moved up one place on the rankings to 35th and will face Alejo Muniz, Luke Shepardson and fellow Aussie Liam O’Brien.
