POLICE PRAISE THE BEHAVIOUR OF FANS DURING SUPERCARS WEEKEND

Other than a few isolated incidents, police say bad behaviour was kept to a minimum over the Newcastle 500 weekend.

And despite the crowd being down on last year, organisers say the event was actually bigger than they expected.
