It’s been one of the worst kept secrets in the NRL, with it today announced David Klemmer will join the Newcastle Knights.
The prop joins the Knights on a five-year deal, believed to be worth around $4.3 million.
An Australian representative, Klemmer has been dealing with personal issues and wants to start a new life away from Sydney.
It’s understood the Bulldogs have granted him an immediate release.
