CENTRAL COAST TRAINS WITH TAMWORTH AHEAD OF WATERPOLO STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

It’s not often country kids get the chance to train with their coastal counterparts, but today, teams from Tamworth Waterpolo got to practice with the competition.
Teams from the Central Coast made the journey to the Country Music Capital, testing the waters ahead of the state championships that kick off this week.
Coach Sean Hofman says it’s a unique opportunity.
“It is very hard to have competitive games outside of the region so for Central Coast to come up out of their time to play us and give us extra competition to prepare for state, it’s a vital thing for a regional side.”
Tamworth’s Under 16 girls will play in the top division of the State Championships over the next four days.
