Trainers are being offered a rebate from Greyhound Racing New South Wales, after two more tracks around the region were closed indefinitely this week.
“They’ve put up an $80 travel rebate for trainers that need to travel to wherever they need to go to either work their dogs, train their dogs or race their dogs,” Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson.
The Tamworth track was closed after a dog had to be euthanised, while Armidale failed a routine inspection.
