TAMWORTH HOTELIER CLAIMS TOP ACCOLADE
A Tamworth hotelier has been inducted into the Australian Hotels Association’s Hall NSW of Fame overnight.
Bevan Douglas celebrated with his wife Joan, after receiving the prestigious accolade.
Mr Douglas took over ‘The Pub’ in Tamworth in 1989, and would go on to expand his hotel empire to six separate businesses, employing more than 400 staff.
The CEO of the Hotels Association also acknowledged his tireless campaigning for country pubs.
