NATIONALS WATERSKIING COMPETITIONS WILL STILL GO AHEAD IN MOREE

The Australian Junior Masters and National Waterskiing Championships will go ahead in Moree early next year.
The announcement follows a wave of uncertainty with the dry conditions posing problems in keeping the lakes full and ready for such large-scale competitions.
Moree Plains Shire Council has approved a change in the management agreement – allowing the Moree Water Ski Club to stop pumping into the third lake to see that water keep the other two full.
A change in depth requirements was also approved – still in line with national guidelines.
