MAN CHARGED OVER ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF TWO YOUNG GIRLS AT LAKE MACQUARIE

Charges have been laid against a 59-year-old man in relation to the alleged sexual assault of two girls, aged 8 and 12, at Lake Macquarie in January.
The man was arrested by detectives at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney on Monday afternoon, and charged with a number of offences including two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a victim under the age of 16 years.
A number of electronic devices and USB drives were seized during the arrest.
It’s understood the man was known to the girls.
He’ll face court in Sydney later today.
