Police are warning parents to be on the lookout for man who they believe attempted to abduct a child in Hamilton yesterday.
A nine-year-old boy was walking along Cleary Street at around 4pm when he was approached by a man in black sedan.
The boy ran away.
Police conducted extensive patrols of the area but were unable to locate the car.
Witnesses described the man as being caucasian, around 30 years of age.
He was wearing a brown shirt, and has a tattoo on his left arm.
