STOLEN “SUPER OYSTERS” THE KEY TO IMPROVING WATER QUALITY

Research into the water quality of the Richmond River has been set back two years, after ten dozen “super” oysters were stolen from Burns Point in Ballina.

Close to 200 volunteer hours have gone into the project, but organisers are hopeful the oysters will resurface.
