Lismore City has cemented number one spot on the Far North Coast Rugby Union table, after thrashing Byron Bay.
Byron had plenty of opportunities, but couldn’t get past the home side’s solid defence.
City was in a good position by halftime, leading by 15.
It then continued to pile on the points, crossing four more times.
“The first half was tough it was still close in the first half and we just thought if we weather the storm and get through the first forty tire them out and then we’ll run them around in the second and it worked out today.”
The final score, 58 points to nine.
