STUDENT STRESS HIGH IN REGIONAL AREAS
The HSC may be wrapping up for another year, but that doesn’t mean an end to to the stress for school leavers.
A new report shows high levels of concern among regional students as they embark on the next stage of their lives.
“Our research has shown that 60-per cent of young people in regional areas are experiencing worrying levels of exam stress with nearly nearly of them attributing that stress to concerns about getting a job after school,” Ashley De Silva, ReachOut CEO.
The drought was put down as another factor, as was travelling for study or having to move from their hometown to gain employment.
