WHEELCHAIR BOUND MAN DIES AFTER FIRE AT NURSING HOME

A family member has raised concerns following the death of a wheelchair-bound man at a mid north coast nursing home.

Kenneth Andrews Seach was reportedly found in the smoking area of the Estia Health facility at Tuncurry on August 26, with his clothes alight.

He was airlifted to a Sydney hospital but died the next day.

A relative has questioned whether he was adequately supervised.

Investigations are underway… while Estia Health has expressed its deepest sympathy for the family.
