LAUREN PARKER PLAYS SPECIAL ROLE AT MAITLAND TRIATHLON

There was a special thrill for competitors at the Maitland Triathlon, with Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, Lauren Parker on hand to address the crowd and give out medals.

Parker was only able to take part in the swim in a team’s event.

In the men’s division, Laurent Doyen finished more than two minutes in front of Blake Parker, while Nicky Western took out the women’s race.
