HISTORY RESURFACES AT LAKE KEEPIT

A piece of Lake Keepit’s history has been uncovered as the dam drops to just 8-percent capacity.

Grave sites, some more than 160-years-old, can now be seen on the surface…from the former Huntsgrove cemetary.

More graves from the old Huntsgrove Homestead could be revealed if the dam continues to drop.

But Reflections Holiday Park says it’s been something of a morbid boost to tourism, with a number of people coming to take a look.
