UPCOMING ARTISTS TRY THEIR HAND IN YOUNG ARCHIBALD PRIZE

Budding young artists have pulled out the paintbrushes as part of the Young Archibald Prize.
Students across the region were invited to submit a portrait of a special person in their lives.
“I chose my dad, he’s inspired me to follow my dreams with soccer and sport and academically as well.”
They took care to capture everything there is to know about their subjects.
“I’ve definitely gone and drawn his beard and I was trying to wonder if I could maybe add in his double chins.”
Judges will choose artworks to be displayed at the Tamworth Regional Gallery.
