SURFBOARDS & GEAR STOLEN FROM SURFEST SURF SCHOOL
A Newcastle surf school is putting the call out, after its trailer and tens of thousands of dollars worth of gear was stolen from Nobbys Beach overnight.
It’s believed the trailer would’ve been taken sometime after 5.30pm, with an organiser telling NBN News 35 surf boards, more than 60 wetsuits, leg ropes and rash shirts were all inside at the time.
Some school lessons and kids programs will still be able to run, however, others will have to be cancelled due to a lack of equipment.
