Industrial action is continuing against Bindaree Beef after more than 200 people walked off the job yesterday, calling for better pay.
Overtime bans will continue, which could have dramatic implications for the plant’s production.
Staff walked off the job for an additional 20-minutes today.
The Meat Workers Union says negotiations are continuing, but a resolution is yet to be reached.
Bindaree management says the company will continue to negotiate in good faith, working towards an outcome that is fair for both parties.
