TRUCK CAUGHT ON FIRE THIS MORNING

A lucky escape for a truck driver after his trailer caught fire south of Taree early this morning.

At around 5am, the driver has noticed flames in his rear-vision mirror, while travelling south near Godfrey Hill Road.

Both roads were closed until the fire was extinguished.

Thankfully, nobody was injured.
