A man is awaiting sentencing after stabbing another man at Coledale in 2016.
Aubrey Michael Fleck was due to stand trial yesterday, charged with attempted murder, but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Fleck stabbed the then 38-year-old victim more than 20 times in the torso, arm and leg.
He miraculously survived the frenzied attack.
Fleck will be sentenced next month.
