Storm activity is set to increase across Northern New South Wales this afternoon, with the Bureau of Meteorology reminding people to be aware during severe weather.
Large hailstones, heavy rainfall, and damaging winds are likely across much of the state, with a trough colliding with an already humid airmass.
A warning is currently in place for the central west of the state, including parts of the North West Slopes and Plains and Hunter regions.
