GRANT FUNDING TO PRETTY UP PARTS OF NEWCASTLE HARBOUR

Parts of Newcastle harbour will soon be a bit easier on the eye, after the latest round of State Government community grants.

Cottage Creek is in for some sandstone terracing, trees and public places, between the rail line and Honeysuckle Drive.

The old grain silos too will be equipped with high-definition video projectors beaming images that will be visible across the harbour.
