Police are working to determine the circumstances which led to the death of a Port Stephens woman in hospital overnight.
The 51-year-old was admitted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with a number of injuries on Friday, before passing away on Monday evening.
Officers are investigating whether an incident at her Lemon Tree Passage home on Wednesday is linked to her death.
