VISITORS CAUGHT WITH CONTRABAND AT KEMPSEY JAIL

Visitors to New South Wales correctional centres are being reminded to ensure their cars are contraband-free.
It comes after a weekend blitz which resulted in at least 11 visitors being charged.
Another eight have been prevented from entering centres at Kempsey, Lithgow, Shortland and others across the state.
Officers seized a number of items including two replica firearms, knives, pepper spray, a machete, white powder and tobacco.
