Around 300 competitors will have the shot at some big prizes this long-weekend, when the Gunnedah Sporting Clays club hosts its 52nd Gumtree Championships.
On offer is almost $30,000 in prizes, with a $12,000 shotgun up for grabs to anyone who can shoot a perfect score at the Gumtree Championships.
The action gets underway early on Saturday morning.
