ONE DEAD, AND ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN KULNURA CRASH

A man has died, and a woman seriously injured, following a collision at Kulnura today.

Shortly after midday, a Toyota Camry and a truck collided at the intersection of Georges Downs Drive and Springs Road.

The elderly male driver of the car died at the scene, while the female passenger was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The female driver of the horse float was not injured and taken to Wyong Hospital for mandatory testing.

The horses suffered scratches and minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
