Police have seized a blue Holden Commodore as part of their investigation into the alleged abduction of a 20-year-old woman in Jesmond this morning.
Police believe a 31-year-old man threatened the woman before forcing her into the vehicle and driving her to a house at Wallsend.
The pair hasn’t been seen since.
