CONTAMINATED STRAWBERRIES FOUND AT WALCHA

Copy-cats in the ongoing strawberry contamination saga continue to target the New England North West, with an incident reported in Walcha today.
Officers seized fruits for forensic examination, as New South Wales and Queensland police continue searching for the culprits.
It follows investigations into alleged needle tampering in Guyra and Inverell earlier this week.
A warning remains in place for people to cut up their strawberries before eating them.
