John Renshaw Drive at Buchanan will be closed in both directions until midnight, as emergency crews mop up a large oil spill.
The arterial road was closed for several hours today, after a truck rolled, spilling more than 7,000 litres of insulating oil, at about midday.
Motorists have been advised to instead take the Hunter Expressway or M1.
