Plans to redevelop Coffs Harbour’s boat ramp have been given the green light.
In recent years, the ramp has become a safety hazard for fishers due to a build-up of sand.
Last year, 15 boats came to grief in shallow water.
Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, has announced that a total of $95-thousand will be put towards a major dredging operation.
10 thousand cubic metres of sand will be removed.
