APPEAL FOR INFORMATION OVER REMAINS FOUND NEAR TAREE

Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses, after the discovery of human remains in bushland near Taree last week.

The body is now believed to be the that of a man in his 40s.

Investigators suspect the man may have died at another location and his body was then dumped in the Yarratt State Forest earty Thursday morning.

They’re urging anyone with dash-cam footage from around that time to provide copies to police.
