GAV’S WEATHER: MINIMAL RAIN MAKES IT INLAND

Expect a cloudy day tomorrow, with more showers for coastal regions contracting north to the border.

Conditions for the Central Coast, Newcastle and Mid North Coast are easing, while only small totals are expected west of the divide.

A couple of good of examples of the how the rain has fallen:

• Lismore only received 4mm, while Ballina which sits directly east received 80mm.
• Suburbs in and around Newcastle received 50 – 80mm while farming areas in the Hunter Valley only received 1 to 1.5mm.
• Totals in the range of 1 to 15mm fell across the North West.
