NEW WOOLWORTHS FOR HUNTER STREET MALL REDEVELOPMENT

Hunter Street Mall is about to get a major new tenant, with a Woolworths Metro store locked in, after years of negotiation.

The supermarket will be based on the ground floor of Iris Capital’s $700-million redevelopment.

Demolition is currently in full swing at the site, and construction is next on the cards.

Woolworths will be the biggest retailer to be located in the mall since the departure of David Jones in 2011.
