There were long traffic delays on the Pacific Highway, south of Newcastle this morning, after a truck and a ute collided at Catherine Hill Bay.
Emergency services were called to the Flowers Drive intersection shortly after 7:30.
The driver of the ute was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
One northbound lane of the highway was closed for around an hour, as the scene was cleared.
