A missing woman and her baby girl have been found safe and well in Coffs Harbour.
The 26-year-old mother was seen leaving Taree’s Manning Base Hospital with her infant at around 12.30 on Thursday afternoon.
Police had serious concerns for the newborn, who required urgent medical attention.
A tip off from the public led police to an address in Coffs Harbour and the pair was found at 9.30 last night.
They were taken to hospital for observation, and did not appear to have any serious medical issues.
