A 44-year-old Taree man has been charged over the sexual assault of a young woman with an intellectual disability.
The incident allegedly occurred earlier this year, when the 20-year-old was in his care.
In July, the man was also charged with possessing child abuse material, after police allegedly found images and videos on a computer at a local college.
He’s due to face Taree Local Court next month.
