INVERELL COUNCIL TAKES TINGHA UNDER ITS WING

Residents of Tingha are officially under the management of Inverell Shire Council as of today.

The change comes after Tingha residents signed a petition sighting the change in 2016.

“The community will start to notice some very positive changes, Inverell Shire will take over the curbside waste collection but also council has some very exciting plans to upgrade the local caravan park, community facilities and a number of roads.”

Tingha was previously overseen by Armidale Regional Council.
