A father-and-son fishing expedition has taken a turn, thanks to a surprise encounter with giants of the sea.
Brett Chapman and his dad were fishing around 20 kilometres off the coast of Coffs Harbour, when these whales came over to say hello.
Gliding about the boat, the graceful mammals weren’t in a hurry to head off.
