Getting around Nelson Bay has become easier with Yacaaba Street’s new access point now open.
Old buildings were knocked down as part of the $1.85-million project, designed to better connect foreshore foot traffic and cars to the centre of town.
Port Stephens Council says it’s just the start of improvements, with further changes to go up for public comment later this year.
