There’s been more movement on the Inland Rail Project with a $13.5-million design contract awarded for work between Narrabri and Narromine.
During this time, locals will still have a chance to be heard as community consultations continue.
Construction on the Parkes to Narromine leg will begin next year, with the Narromine to Narrabri section expected to start by 2021.
