Police have arrested two men over an alleged crime spree early on Wednesday morning that ended with an Evans Head bottle shop being ram raided.
It’s alleged the men stole a car from a Casino home, and fuel from a local service station before driving to Evans Head and ploughing the car into the shopfront.
Alcohol and cigarettes were then allegedly stolen from the store.
Police have charged a 19 year old Tabulam man with motor vehicle theft and driving without a licence.
An 18 year old man from Casino was also charged with aggravated break and enter and stealing.
Both men have been refused bail.
