A 19-year-old man has been arrested, following an investigation into a series of alleged break and enters in Newcastle.
Police will allege in one incident a home on Beach Street at Newcastle East was broken into, with a car and other items allegedly stolen.
Following inquiries a 19-year-old was arrested at Mayfield at around 6.30 last night.
He was taken to Waratah Police Station, and charged with nine offences including five counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in court later this month.
