A 33-year-old man is set to face court, charged over an alleged armed robbery at South Tamworth earlier this week.
Police will allege a man entered a store on the New England Highway at around 4 o’clock on Thursday afternoon, threatening a staff member before stealing cash.
Following inquires, police arrested a 33-year-old at a Tamworth Cinema yesterday evening.
He was charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon, and will face court later today.
