WOMAN FOUND NOT GUILTY OF POISONING DAUGHTER WITH URINE

A Hunter mother, accused of poisoning her daughter with urine, has been found NOT guilty.

The 47-year old, who can’t be identified for legal reasons, was alleged to have injected her daughter with urine back in 2015, when the nine year old was a patient in a Sydney hospital.

She was also accused of secretly giving her daughter laxatives on two occasions in 2014, at John Hunter Hospital.

Following a two-week trial in Newcastle District Court, a judge delivered his verdict, acquitting the mother of all three-charges.

The woman’s lawyer in a statement said “the court has restored her lost reputation.”
