LABOR PROMISE $3-MILLION MUSEUM AT MYALL CREEK

It’s been almost 20 years since the first memorial was built at the site of the Myall Creek Massacre.
Now, if elected, Labor are promising a $3-million museum to commemorate the tragedy.
The pledge comes a week before the 180th anniversary of the massacre, which saw 28 Aboriginal men, women and children murdered by white stockmen.
As well as a place of remembrance, the museum would act as an education and cultural centre.
