ENDANGERED SPECIES SUBJECT OF COAL POINT MURAL

The final brush strokes are being added to a mural at Coal Point, highlighting some of the lake’s threatened species.
The powerful owl and squirrel glider are just some of the featured flora and fauna.
It’s come together with help from Toronto High and Coal Point Public students.
“To get them to appreciate what we have is the first step in wanting to protect what we have.”
The mural will be formally unveilled on World Environment Day – June 5.
